Announced : Canon EOS R3 Camera and Three RF Lenses

Canon has revealed the first details of its high-end EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera. Along with the Canon EOS R3 development announcement, the company also unveiled the previously rumored three new RF lenses :

The Canon R3 will feature a new Canon-developed back illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, DIGIC X imaging processor, 30fps burst shooting with AF/AE tracking, an integrated grip design with professional levels of weather-proofing, Canon’s most advanced autofocusing system ever, an innovative new autofocus Eye Control Function, and compatibility with Canon’s Mobile File Transfer smartphone app.

Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens Will Have 1.4x Magnification and Control Ring

We are getting close to the Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens announcement. The highly anticipated macro lens for Canon full frame mirrorless cameras will be officially announced with the RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM lens later this month.

According to recent reports, the Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens will feature 1.4x magnification and a new “SA Control” ring that can control spherical aberrations in the lens.

About the price tag the RF 100mm f/2.8 IS USM Macro Lens will probably cost $2,000.

The first product images of the new Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens have been leaked online. Check it out!

The announcement of the macro lens is about to happen this month and along with the other two telephoto lenses.
