According to the latest rumors from N0kishita-C, the price of the Canon EOS R3 will stand at $5,999. The camera is already listed at B&H.

The leak also indicates that the upcoming Canon RF 16mm will cost  $299,   RF 100-400mm for $649, DM-E1D for $299, ST-E10 for $ 119, and AD-E1 for $39.

The price of $5,999  is exactly the same as the current  Fujifilm GFX 100S. At this price, it seems that it will be evaluated as cheap if the performance is comparable to the flagship machines of other companies.

Nokishita confirmed previous rumors about the Canon EOS R3 that the camera will feature a 24MP sensor. This information is based on a leak from a photo news website. It seems that there are many websites out there that receive information under NDA that is easily accessible online.

Another European retailer listed the Canon EOS R3 camera in their online store with a price tag of €7,299 (over $8,600). However the price tag doesn’t look accurate. It is now confirmed that the Canon EOS R3 sensor is designed and manufactured by Canon. 

Canon officially announced the development of the EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera and stated that the upcoming EOS R3 sensor “will feature Canon’s first-ever full-frame backside-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor that it designed in-house”.

But nearly a month after Canon EOS R3 development announcement, some sites reported that the sensor in the upcoming Canon EOS R3 could made by Sony.

To put an end to speculations, Canon has reiterated in no uncertain terms that it is not only the designer of the new sensor but also its manufacturer (via PetaPixel).

The sensor in the upcoming EOS R3 camera is Canon designed and manufactured.

This is the same statement that the company said to journalists in April ahead of the Canon EOS R3’s official development announcement.

The Canon EOS R3 will be an ideal mirrorless camera for sports, wildlife and news photographers.

It seems the release of the Canon EOS R3 is getting closer.  Looks like select photographers are getting their hands on the new Canon RF mount flagship camera.
