  1. I purchased a Canon R10 18months ago online not realizing that is was from the USA and just a week ago the camera stopped working I sent it away to Canon Australia to be fixed and the found that it was going to cost me$880 Australian Because it was not bought from a Canon Store in Australia I had no warranty to cover the repair cost.I’m annoyed because in Australia Canon gives a 5 yr warranty but in the USA 2 yr warranty I cannot afford the repair cost as I’m on a limited income ,the pension . This leaves me with a sour taste because a camera not that old has failed me .I have a Canon 60D and its about 15 yrs? old and still works “perfectly “. I had another Canon lense on order so its not much good for me now . Can you understand my pain?
